These are all great flash sites as well, lots to learn and gape at, even if you don't know the lingo (I'm sure you prefer Actionscript to Lingo anyway). Online Tatsuo Kato's OO Flash Tools - Highly recommended! (Japanese version) Quantumwave - great Flash OO info/tutorials by Dave Yang. OctaneInteractive - Great examples/sources/info on MX components by Darshan Sawardekar Actionscript-Toolbox.com - Most excellent actionscript resource from Helen Triolo Macromedia Flash Support - includes the FM in RTFM Flashcoders - the list of lists if you code in Flash. Not a general Flash list - coding only .Javascript Specs - When you need to dig a little. Not Actionscript exactly, but tremendously useful. OOP in JavaScript - by Bob Clary at Netscape - good overview Books O-O Software Construction - Bertrand Meyer - A most amazing book from a most amazing person. Possibly everything you ever need to know about OO in in here, and entertaining read too! Code Complete - Steve McConnell - A must read if you are interested in good coding advice. Thinking in Java - Bruce Eckels - Most excellent book, free to read online too! (great to have a copy too) Javascript Objects - Alexander Nakhimovsky and Tom Myers - Once you are past the Wrox style cover, these guys take ECMA for a real workout. The O-O thought process - Matt Weisfeld - Nice introductory text to oo, simple and straight forward. An Introduction to O-O programming with Java - C. Thomas Wu - Great reference for 'how Java does it' JSDG - David Flanagan - The last word on Javascript Actionscripting - Phillip Kerman - Very excellent book covering general Actionscripting. Very complete. ASDG - Colin Moock - The last word on Actionscript. Tools Flush - utility to automatically compile and run actionscript from a text editor.
